​Blythewood High School students have numerous options for summer reading and learning.  Each Bengal family is encouraged to explore the variety of options available and design a summer learning experience that best fits the needs of their student(s).
  • Consult the subject specific suggested readings and assignments for courses students will be taking in the fall - details below
  • Read for pleasure by choosing book(s) that you are interested in reading.  BHS librarians recommend the South Carolina Young Adult Book Award nominees or using NoveList Plus from DISCUS for recommendations.
  • Participate in the Richland Library Summer Learning Challenge - earn prizes!
  • Many ebook and audiobook choices are available in the Richland Two Sora/Overdrive collection.  Search and borrow from both the Richland Two collection and the Richland Library collection using our Sora website or download the Sora app for iPhone or Android.  Students use their 8 digit student ID number and password for access.
  • ​Read one of the variety of Sora digital magazines on a wide range of subjects and in several languages available from our school library.
